Five are hand-built, tin-roofed log cabins located on 18 private acres. Four others – Alarka Creek Cottage, Bees Treehouse, Mt. Nebo Cabin and Fields Treehouse – are secluded, yet close to all the great outdoor adventures in the mountains. Four cabins – Eagle’s Nest, Bear Kottage, Wolf’s Den and Captain’s Bend – are located on Alarka Creek, a great spot for relaxing and catching some trout. One large group cabin with swimming pool – Brick Chalet Lodge – is located in Deep Creek just one mile from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Bryson City is a small town with interesting galleries, craft shops, antique stores and a surprising variety of restaurants. Cherokee NC attractions and Nantahala River whitewater activities are just minutes away. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park has plenty of hiking trails, waterfalls and scenic drives to explore. The North Carolina side of the Smokies has plenty of outdoor beauty, attractions and fun without the hassle of crowds and “tourist traps”. Most of the cabins are pet friendly.
